The title of this family blog is derived from the meanings of our children's names. Azriel means GOD Is My STRENGTH, Avigail means Bringer of JOY, and Liberty means FREEDOM!...Then there's Esther, our youngest! This is a chronicle of our home life, our adventures, and our milestones.

Chillin' at the hotel in Newport
Can you tell the kids are watching network television? They're entranced. Scary. Glad we don't have it at home. I just thought these were funny pictures!
Oh...and now that Liberty just awoke from her afternoon nap I will be closing out my updating frenzy for NOW. I will try again later. I have so many pictures to share and catch you up with!!!
Yesterday we went out to the park for the first time in a while. We met some homeschooling friends there and the kids had fun running around and getting fresh air! OH yeah, and we got our tax returns today! That's exciting! Let's see...what else can I throw in before signing off??? Hmmm...not sure. We're going to get ready now and go seen Granner Selbia and maybe Aunt Adele. We bought them each a small pot of spring flower bulbs in bloom which will now be a belated Valentine gift. I haven't seen Aunt Adele since OCTOBER I think. Wow...that's ridiculous considering she's right down the road. Of course, with all the sickness we've had since then I can't very well visit people with comprimised immune systems! I can't believe how much sickness we've had here...5 colds and 2 flus since October. Fortunately everyone is WELL as PRESENT! Later...
MO's Restaurant in Newport!
Yes, we ate at the famed Mo's restuarant...their original location on the bayfront in Newport. I hadn't been there since we lived in Newport...so maybe 22 years! It still looks EXACTLY the same. Their heat wasn't working so it was FREEZING in there. That's why everyone is bundled up! It was not crowded like usual...guess that's one of the bonuses of midweek, midwinter travel & tourism!!! I had oysters, of course. My fave. Can't tell you what everyone else had but this is where Az threw up at the end of our meal because he was stuffing his food in so he could get candy next door at the candy shop. This is when we decided to never again use finishing all your dinner as a condition of a treat!
The BEAUTIFUL Oregon Coast
Pics from Grandma Maxine's house!
This is from our trip in January to Eugene, OR, the Oregon Coast, then to the Seattle area.
This is the first time Grandma Mac had seen little Liberty!!!
Silly kids
Although I HATE it of ME...
Random, I know
These are pics from when we had our snow a few weeks back. I'm sorry that all these pics are posted out of order. It's totally random at this point. I'll try and keep you oriented as I post them. These are Jan. (I think)!
